Welcome to Battleship! Your objective is to sink all of the computer's ships before it sinks yours.

Setup

1. Both your ships and the computer's are placed randomly on the grid.
2. You can click the "Randomize" button to select a different random ship placements if you don't like the initial one.

Ships

• Carrier (5 spaces)
• Battleship (4 spaces)
• Cruiser (3 spaces)
• Submarine (3 spaces)
• Destroyer (2 spaces)

Game Play

1. You and the computer take turns to attack by selecting a grid coordinate.
2. If a ship is hit, the current player will continue to attack until the next miss, then turns are switched.

Tips

• Use strategy to determine the likely location of the opponent's ships.
• Pay attention to the pattern of hits and misses to adjust your strategy.
• The computer can make 'smart' attacks, so don't underestimate it.
